Zinc dust is a fine grey metallic powder used in corrosion resistant coatings and a variety of chemical type applications. Unlike zinc powder, zinc dust is manufactured using the controlled condensation of zinc vapor in an inert atmosphere like nitrogen; zinc dust particle size can vary by controlling the gas recirculation rate and the production rate.
